Ingredients

Grounded pork0.25 kg
Tablespoons fish sauce1
Teaspoon black pepper¼
Stalks green onion, chopped2
Cups water4
White yam, peeled and grated(approx 2 cups)0.75 kg
Tablespoons fish sauce1
Tablespoon sugar1
Teaspoon salt½
Fresh saw leaves herb *chee pala*, chopped6

Directions to make White Yam with Pork Soup

  1. In a small bowl, mix grounded pork with 1 tablespoon fish sauce,black pepper and green onion. Mix well and set a side.
  2. Put water in a soup pot and cook till water bubbling boiled.
  3. Add prepared grounded pork and yam to boiling water and cook till yam tender. Stirs often.
  4. Seasoning with fish sauce, sugar and salt.
  5. Top with saw leaves herb.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
