Marinate the chicken

  • 2 breasts 2 about 1lb (900 gram) of chicken cut the meat to bite site

  • 1 teaspoon 1 chicken bouillon powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon 1 soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon 1 rice wine or sherry

  • Dash white pepper

  • Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.

  • For the batter
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 flour

  • 1 teaspoon 1 baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda

  • 2/3 cup 2/3 water (adjusts water to thick or thins the batter)

  • 4 tablespoon 4 cornstarch

  • 1 tablespoon 1 vegetable oil

  • Mix everything in a bowl and set aside. (I use store bought tempura powder)

  • For the sauce
  • 3 tablespoon 3 honey

  • 2 tablespoon 2 sugar

  • 2 tablespoon 2 ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon 1 vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon 1 soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon 1 chili paste for spicy (optional)

  • Mix them all in a bowl and set aside.

Directions

  • Add 3 cup of vegetable oil in a wok and turn the heat to medium high,
  • Take the marinate chicken and coat it with batter or tempura mix.
  • Deep fry the chicken for 4 minutes or till golden brown, take the chicken out and set it on paper towel.
  • In the same work leave 1 tablespoon of oil and fry the garlic till brown
  • Add the sauce mix heat it till boiling
  • Add the cook chicken mix well on low heat
  • Turn the heat off add green onion
  • Garnish your chicken with sesame seeds
