Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 sweet mirin

  • 4 tablespoon 4 sugar

  • 2 tablespoon 2 rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

  • 1 clove 1 mince garlic

  • 1 teaspoon 1 mince ginger or powder ginger

  • 1 tablespoon 1 cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoon 2 water

Directions

  • Mix cornstarch with water set aside.
  • In a small sauce pan combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, vinegar, garlic, ginger and bring to a boil on medium heat for one minute, then mix with the cornstarch mixture reduce heat until the sauce is thicken turn the heat off.
  • Let the sauce cool before using.
