Cambodian Fried Rice with Rainbow Trout

Delicious Cambodian Fried Rice with Rainbow Trout is very easy to make and very high in calories. This Khmer recipe is made from rainbow trout, black pepper, flour and other ingredients. This delicious Cambodian food is traditionally served as breakfast rather than lunch.

Ingredients
1/2 rainbow trout from Costco | ||
1 cup of flour | ||
1 tsp of salt | ||
½ tsp of black pepper | ||
1 tsp of Johnny’s garlic |
Directions to make Cambodian Fried Rice with Rainbow Trout
- In a nonstick fry pan add half cube of butter over medium heat till hot
- Coat the fish with the flour mixture
- Put one or 2 pieces of fish at the time to the fry pan
- Fry each side of fish till golden brown and crispy
- Then turn to the other side fry till it is done
- Take it out and let it cool a bit before serving
You can serve pan fried trout with Tartar sauce and lime juice with wild rice or brown rice
