Slippery food is one of the small frustrations that can make cooking feel harder than it should be. A piece of chicken slides out of your tongs just as you try to flip it. A bundle of herbs refuses to stay gripped. This 2-piece stainless steel tongs set is designed to address that exact problem. The wavy scalloped head grips food firmly, even when your hands are wet or greasy. With both a 9-inch and a 12-inch tong, you get a tool for stovetop cooking and a tool for the grill — without buying two separate products.
Product Summary
This is a set of two stainless steel kitchen tongs in 9-inch and 12-inch sizes. The tongs have a wavy scalloped head that grips food firmly, a locking clip for compact storage, and ergonomic non-slip handles. They are heat resistant and dishwasher safe, making them useful for everyday cooking and grilling.
Why We Recommend It
We selected this tongs set because it covers two useful sizes in one purchase — a shorter tong for stovetop cooking and a longer tong for grilling or reaching into deeper pots. The locking clip and hanging loop make storage simple. For Cambodian and Southeast Asian cooking, tongs are handy for turning proteins in a hot wok, lifting herbs from simmering broths, or serving grilled meats at the table.
Best For
This set is best for US home cooks who want a reliable, no-fuss tool for flipping, grabbing, and serving food. It suits anyone who cooks on the stovetop, grills outdoors, or prepares Asian-style dishes that involve quick tossing and turning of ingredients.
Things to Consider
The 9-inch tong is comfortable for general stovetop use, while the 12-inch tong gives extra reach for grills or deep pots. Stainless steel conducts heat, so the handles may become warm during prolonged high-heat cooking. The locking mechanism keeps the tongs closed for storage, but the pull-ring should be checked before each use.
