A good ladle should do one thing well: move liquid from a deep pot to a bowl without making a mess. The Zulay Kitchen 12-Inch Stainless Steel Soup Ladle is built for that task. Its long handle reaches into stockpots, and its deep bowl holds a generous serving of soup, stew, or sauce. For anyone who cooks Cambodian broths or Southeast Asian soups, a reliable ladle is a quiet but useful tool to have in the kitchen. This one is worth a closer look if you want a simple stainless steel option.
Product Summary
The Zulay Kitchen 12-Inch Stainless Steel Soup Ladle is a durable cooking and serving tool made from BPA-free stainless steel. Its long handle reaches into deep pots, and the deep bowl scoops generous portions of soup, stew, sauce, or broth. It is dishwasher-safe and designed for everyday kitchen use.
Why We Recommend It
We selected this ladle because it is a practical, straightforward tool that fits well with Cambodian and Southeast Asian cooking. Many Khmer soups and broths are served from large, deep pots, and a long-handled ladle makes serving easier without splashing. The stainless steel construction is simple to clean, and the 12-inch length provides good reach for family-sized cooking pots.
Best For
This ladle is best for US home cooks who prepare soups, stews, chili, or brothy dishes regularly. It may also be useful for anyone cooking Cambodian or Southeast Asian recipes that involve serving from deep pots. It suits both beginners and experienced home cooks looking for a simple, reliable serving tool.
Things to Consider
This is a manual ladle with no special features beyond its stainless steel body and long handle. It measures about 12 inches in length and roughly 3.3 inches across the bowl, so it takes up some drawer or counter space. If you already own a ladle you like, or if you prefer silicone or nylon utensils for nonstick cookware, you may not need this one.
