Measuring ingredients for Cambodian cooking can be tricky when your tools are unreliable. Fish sauce, palm sugar, tamarind, and spice pastes need balanced amounts to get the flavor right. Plastic measuring cups often crack, stain, or lose their markings over time. This magnetic stainless steel set is designed to solve those problems. The pieces nest together with magnets, so they stay organized in your drawer. The laser-etched markings won’t fade. If you cook Asian food at home and want measuring tools that last, this set is worth a closer look.
Product Summary
This is a 15-piece magnetic measuring cups and spoons set made from heavy-duty 304 stainless steel. It includes 7 measuring cups and 8 double-sided measuring spoons, plus a leveler. The magnets in the handles keep the pieces nested together for tidy storage. The markings are laser-etched in both U.S. and metric units, so they stay readable over time. The set is dishwasher safe and designed for everyday cooking and baking.
Why We Recommend It
CambodiaRecipe selected this measuring set because accurate measuring matters in Cambodian and Southeast Asian cooking, where balance between salty, sweet, sour, and spicy flavors is key. Many recipes use small amounts of ingredients like fish sauce, palm sugar, tamarind, and spice pastes. A reliable measuring set helps home cooks repeat dishes consistently. The stainless steel build is more durable than plastic alternatives, and the magnetic nesting design keeps the tools together in a drawer. It is a practical kitchen tool for anyone cooking Asian food at home.
Best For
This set is best for US home cooks who want accurate, durable measuring tools for everyday cooking and baking. It suits people who cook Cambodian, Thai, Vietnamese, or other Southeast Asian recipes that call for precise amounts of sauces, spices, and aromatics. It is also useful for bakers who need consistent measurements and for anyone tired of plastic measuring cups that crack, stain, or lose their markings.
Things to Consider
The magnets keep the set together, but you need to store the pieces flat or stacked to benefit from the nesting design. The stainless steel construction makes the set heavier than plastic measuring tools, which may matter if you prefer lightweight tools. The included leveler is a small separate piece, so it can be easy to misplace. The set includes many sizes, which is helpful for variety but may be more than some cooks need if they only use a few basic measurements.
