Ingredients
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sweet mirin
4 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 clove mince garlic
1 teaspoon mince ginger or powder ginger
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoon water
Directions
- Mix cornstarch with water set aside.
- In a small sauce pan combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, vinegar, garlic, ginger and bring to a boil on medium heat for one minute, then mix with the cornstarch mixture reduce heat until the sauce is thicken turn the heat off.
- Let the sauce cool before using.
