Khmer ginger fish sauce is delicious for dipping meat, fish or vegetables. This dipping sauce is very common in Cambodia and Vietnam.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup hot water

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice, approx 2 lime

  • 1/4 cup fish sauce

  • 1/3 cup fresh grated ginger root

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

  • 3 chopped hot chili pepper or to your taste(option)

Directions

  • In a small bowl, mix hot water with sugar till sugar dissolved.
  • Add lime juice, fish sauce, ginger, garlic and pepper, mix well.
