Ginger Fish Sauce

Khmer ginger fish sauce is delicious for dipping meat, fish or vegetables. This dipping sauce is very common in Cambodia and Vietnam.


1/4 cup of hot water
1/4 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of fresh lime juice, approx 2 lime
1/4 cup of fish sauce
1/3 cup of fresh grated ginger root
2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
3 chopped hot chili pepper or to your taste(option)

Directions to make Ginger Fish Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix hot water with sugar till sugar dissolved.
  2. Add lime juice, fish sauce, ginger, garlic and pepper, mix well.
